DESCRIPTION:Project Perseverance\, Inc. has collaborated with Omega Iota Iota to host the Annual Run with Friends 5k Run/ Walk since 2015. Join runners and walkers from across the River Region as they participate in Montgomery’s newest annual running event. \n\n\n\nProceeds from the event aide in our scholarship efforts and mentorships for the Montgomery Metro Area. Our Mentorship program involves youth from kindergarten\, middle/junior high\, and high school males. Our interactive program of involvement serves to provide positive role models in helping them acquire interpersonal skills and a sense of worth and empowerment. Please visit the links below to purchase Tickets and/or become an event sponsor or make a charitable donation. \n\n\n\nAdditional Information\n\n\n\nRACE PACKETS: Race packets will not be mailed. They will be available for pick-up September 12th (5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.) at 309 West Mendel Parkway\, Montgomery AL and on race day\, September 13th\, from 6:00 A.M. until 6:50 A.M. Packets will contain your race instructions\, and 5k Run/Walk shirts.RESULTS: Race results will be posted as soon as available at the race and on the Omega Iota Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity\, Inc. website.REFRESHMENTS: Water\, soft drinks\, fruit and snacks will be available at the finish line. SUMMARY:Community Toy Drive
DESCRIPTION:Project Perseverance in partnership with the Omega Iota Iota Chapter will kick off their 2023 Community Toy Drive on Dec. 2\, 2023. The program is designed to assist families by providing Christmas gifts to disadvantaged youth ages 18 and under in the Tri-County area. \n\n\n\nAdditional Information\n\n\n\nAnyone wishing to donate to the Community Toy Drive can drop off an unwrapped gift at 311 Mendel Parkway West on one of the following Saturdays (Dec 2\, Dec 9\, and Dec 16) between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. \n\n\n\nDuring this holiday season\, please remember those who may be less fortunate. All donations are extremely important. As always\, be mindful that no monetary donations may be accepted; however\, any purchased gift is appreciated. \n\n\n\nThanks in advance to all those that plan on supporting our Community Toy Drive.
